Since many of my kababayans are too fucking butthurt with that idiotic statement that an accomplished marketing executive like I could never have written under my own name… if I told them I didn’t do it, and presented all evidence to support my claim, would they believe me?
Hell, no. Even though they clamor for me to step up and state my side, their puny brains are all made-up by now. They would refuse to listen to reason. Those narrow-minded morons.

Yep, she did a Maricar Reyes, who amidst all the scandal didn’t say a word and proved people wrong with her work. On the other hand, the other girl went to as far as asking justice from a senator and look at what happened, mas maraming feed back at panglalait natanggap nya.

Hi imanhorn! Thank you for your intelligent blog post. I hope it had enlightened some of the readers who were angry at JB.
Too much evidence point towards her innocence. The Facebook statement and Multiply page were simply too bad to be true.
Sure, there is still the possibility that JB had actually written that insensitive statement. But what I find disappointing is the close-mindedness of many of her flamers. They take her possible guilt as indisputable truth.
And the arguments they use to support their claim are flimsy at best.
“If she were nice, she wouldn’t have enemies.” o_O
“If she had been hacked, why didn’t she report it earlier?” Uh, babe, she did months ago. Justice just happens to be so efficient, it can take 20+ years for an innocent man to get out of jail.
“Why doesn’t she come out and air her side?” Already did. But you’re just too pig-headed to read it.
Just to restate what I had told one of the flamers at your entry… “What have you got to lose if you give her the benefit of the doubt? Too scared to be fooled? If she is indeed guilty and you believe that she is innocent, then does that lower the value of your bank account? Does that lower your value as a person? But what if she is innocent and you accuse her of guilt?”

I honestly think she’s innocent, but even if she proves it I doubt people would accept and forgive her because doing so would mean taking back and eating all the bull they dumped on her. Oh well.

Exactly.
It just sucks though that it has to be that way. If they can go option no.1, say sorry and get it over with, why just not drop the issue, or shut up at the very least? The issue’s way beyond facebook already and already threatening (if it has not yet damaged) Jacque Bermejo’s reputation. If there’s anyone we should bash (and bashing that might actually lead to something), we should be bashing GMA for using the emergency funds for her foreign travels.
